The only about 20 km ² small peninsula Koh Sire (or Koh Siray written) is located near Phuket Town on Phuket's east coast. The island is connected to Phuket via Srisuthat Road. Between Phuket and Koh Sire flows the Tha Chin Khlong (a small river, on the shores of which mangrove areas extend). The small island is very quiet and away from the tourist bustle.

At Laem Tuk-kae is Phuket's largest sea gypsy village (Chao Le / Sea Gypsy Village).

With Wat Koh Sire is a temple worth seeing on Koh Sire. A few steps lead to the temple building and from here you have a fantastic view of the island and the fishing village.

On the island there are some smaller shops and food markets as well as a 7eleven market and also ATM machines.

On Koh Sire there are now several larger and smaller hotels. Close to the beach, The Tide Beachfront Siray and the Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa and Nchantra Pool Suite Residences. Away from the beaches are also some smaller idyllic bungalow resorts.

Koh Sire is located in the northeast of Phuket Town and is connected to Phuket via the bridge of Srisuthat Road. Between Phuket and Koh Sire flows the Tha Chin Khlong (a small river). The island is not so easy to find - but with GPS and a little patience it works ;-) Of course, there is also the possibility to go there by taxi from Phuket Town!

Wat Koh Sire: a temple worth seeing, with a large, reclining Buddha and a beautiful outdoor area. The temple is tucked away on a hill. A few steps lead to the temple building and from here you have a fantastic view over the island and the fishing village.
