Travel is our passion and we want to tell you about it here. We are Volker and Sandra, a couple for over 20 years and enthusiastic Southeast Asian fans. In addition to Hong Kong, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia in general, we have made several trips to Thailand. Meanwhile, the "Land of Smiles" has become a kind of second home for us. Every trip has something new to discover. Thailand is a country in the upswing, it is always built something new and the tourist infrastructure is now very good. Our first trip was a package holiday and spent - like most other travelers - our vacation on the different islands in the south of Thailand. At the second holiday we have already booked everything as an individual trip, so as to be able to spend a bit more time in the favorite places of ours. For the first few years we made our domestic trips by public transport (plane, bus, train and ferry). Then we went with the rental car and drove all across Thailand.
